yay?

So I just had a bunch of interesting events happen. ;) You guys are gonna get sick of me and just skip over my blogs in a couple months, but I'm ok with that. ;)

1. Choir concert tonight. I'm semi excited cause I have a small solo, but at the same time I'm not. I asked the teacher if I could leave after we're done because of regionals, and he flipped. I told him it's not a big deal if I can't go, I just thought I'd ask. After about thirty full seconds of fuming, he finally said I could. To make peace and make sure that he doesn't completely tear my grade apart, I asked him (a couple periods later when he had simmered down a bit) if he wanted me to come early and make the mic cords look pretty before the performance cause I want to leave early. He said ok. So that's the plan now. If it seems like he's going to fail me because I left early, I might have to stay and miss regionals. We'll see.

2. I am currently unemployed. I had a job and I was just informed this morning that I am no longer able to work for them. Yay for job hunting? I am currently looking for a job while all of my theater friends are freaking out. A job is more important to me right now than doing theater. I'm really going to miss it, but I owe my mom a ton and a half of money for New York, and I'm going to college in less than two years, and then on to a mission a couple years after that. I'm going to be a vacuum for money soon, so I need a ton to start with. Poor Kevin. He's having a fit...

3. My friend is coming to early morning seminary (forever now referred to as 'ems') on Monday, and possibly Wednesday. I really hope she has a good experience. Anything you guys can do to calm down the boys would help a lot. ;)

4. Piano recital on Saturday... I haven't practiced like the last three weeks because of the play (which I sorely miss) and I'm doin this intense Rachmaninoff song that I can't play all the way through yet. It also uses a sostenuto pedal which my piano doesn't have, so my practicing just throws me off. I think I'm going to raid the church and see if any of those pianos have sostenuto pedals... I'm also competeing with Nick's dad. Apparently he plays this song all the time, and has been for a long time. He's going to be at the recital. SCARY!!

5. Dynamix performance -- right before recital. Why do I love performing so much??! It all gets stacked in the same few weeks!! The director is having us do new stuff to fill in the time, and I'm not entirely sure how that's gonna work out, but hey. We all love to make a fool of ourself at some point, right? ... Maybe?

6. Last, but certainly not least: uh... Yeah, I dunno. I was gonna say something, but I don't remember. :) It was probably something about how I want you guys to come with me to the football game tomorrow so my mom doesn't get mad at me for being ridiculously anti-social. ;) You seriously should come so we can hang out. :)

That's my life for now. :) I'll probably live as soon as I find a job, it was just kinda a shock because I was planning on working tomorrow, but now I can't. ;) See you guys soon I hope! Mei mei, you should come support us at volleyball, even if you can't play. ;)

me.

1. Good luck!
2. Me. Too. I wish I was a computer nerd - employment literally seeks them out.
3. Will do.
